Our Leadership

Loran Harper has been the preaching minister for Comanche Trail since June of 1978.  Mr. Harper received a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Harding University in 1968, a M.Ed in Counseling from West Texas State University in May of 1978, and Master of Arts in Religion from Pepperdine University in April of 1979. 

 

Mr. Harper’s preaching messages are God centered, optimistic, and Bible based.  Along with the long tenure as preacher, Mr. Harper has served as elder in the church since September 2002.

Jerry Klein has been a minister with the church since January of 1995. He holds an A.A. degree from Cameron University in history in 1967, a B.A. degree in Bible and history from Oklahoma Christian University in 1969, and a M.A. in Christian Doctrine from Harding Graduate School in 1974.

 

Jerry is currently the chairman of the Adult and Teen Education Ministry and chairman of the Improve Your English program. His passion is teaching.

Derek Chance came to Comanche Trail in March of 2001. Mr. Chance holds a B.A. in Communications from Abilene Christian University in 1991 and a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Austin Graduate School of Theology in 1992.

Derek serves as our Minister of Youth, working with children in middle school and high school.
