Comanche Trail Church of Christ (CTCC) is located in the heart of the Texas panhandle on the East Side of Amarillo. Our attendance is 350-400 on a typical Sunday. The church building is located in a middleclass neighborhood, but is metropolitan in membership. The demographics of the congregation mirror our community. We have young families with children, middle aged people, and the elderly. The congregation also has a racial mixture consistent with the racial mix of our community. Our goal has been and continues to be to be a family of God in our community and in our city. Our logo carries the banner, “Amarillo’s Family Church.” We have a place in our family for everyone.
We believe that there is one church described in the New
Testament and that church was not designed to be divided. We believe
that Christians should operate in peace and harmony with one
another. We look to the book of Acts and the apostolic writings to
define the church of the first century and then attempt where
possible to restore the practices of that early church in our
worship and practice today.
We believe Jesus Christ is God's own son, and that He came to the earth, died on the cross, rose from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. We believe that Jesus is the only means of salvation. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and reveals God’s way of salvation through His Son and the reason for our hope of eternal life.
